Nightstand Repurposed: It's Now a Kids Workbench

Okay, so how fun is this?? You have most likely seen the darling kitchens made out of night stands or entertainment units - but have you seen the workbench version? Ann a Design Dazzler reader emailed me about her friend the Frugal Granny 's workbench.  The Frugal Granny purchased the nightstand (see below for before picture) for $3 at a thrift store. Play Kitchen Made From a Nightstand??

Really???? Could this be any cuter? An adorable shabby chic kitchenette created by the resourceful Mrs. Devore. Refurbishing a nightstand into a play kitchen is the ultimate in creativity. I love the shabby chic look. Doesn't this put those plastic kitchens to shame? L.O.V. E. it.

Kids' Craft & Play Room

Fabulous design and colors for a quirky kids craft and play room with a adult flair! Margaret L. Norcott, Allied ASID of Milieu Design Group designed this room for the Atlanta Symphony Show House.
